No, Image Audio’s On Hold messages are very economical. All musical

What kind of equipment do I need to use on hold messages?

All you need is a business telephone system with music on hold capability,
there is usually a “music on hold” or “MOH” port visible on your system. If you
are unsure please call us with your system make and model. As for playback
equipment, Image Audio provide you with state of the art digital equipment,
specially designed for playing On-hold messages

How often should we update our message?

That depends on your business and style of message. Generally speaking,
your message should be updated to coincide with your current marketing and
promotions campaign

How long does it take to install our new message?

After we receive your cheque for the initial payment we will send out your
digital player which will take you less than a minute to install, just plug it in to
the mains and plug the other wire into your “MOH” port. As for your
production, once we receive the rental agreement we start work on your script
and you should be playing your message within a week!

Is It possible to choose the gender of my announcer and what Background
music is used in the production?

Yes. You simply tell us whether you want a male or female voice and the style

choice” section were there is a wide selection of music and voice artists and
we do the rest! We are happy to advise on music and voice styles that will suit
your business best.

Will the system answer the phone for me?

No, the messages are designed to be heard by callers who are placed on-
hold or transferred by one of your operators. We have new equipment on trial
at the moment which does actually answer the phone as well  as playing on
hold messages the “call handler 6000” but as it was designed in the U.S for
their telephone network there are some compatibility issues with BT lines
which should be resolved by Autumn 2006

What should I be telling callers when they are placed on hold?

On of our copywriters will work closely with you to determine what should be
said in your message. This may range from product information, location right
through to your website address. Nevertheless you get full and final script
approval.
